Why do we need the Support Our Teachers campaign?

Public school budgets, including at charter schools like HTeNC, HTMNC, & HTHNC are tight. Once the basics are covered – salaries, facilities, classroom furniture – very little is left for the very things that make HTHNC Village top-tier schools – Special Projects, Field Work, Intersession week, College tours, Internships. Our goal is to ensure that HTHNC Village can sustain its unique programs AND take care of its families. We can only do this by raising additional funds through the generous donations of HTHNC Village families.

Did you know?
The HTH system is considered one of the best examples of progressive, project-based education in the U.S. People from all over the world visit our schools to learn from our administrators, teachers, and students. HTH was even featured in a documentary Most Likely to Succeed that demonstrated HTH’s unique approach to educating and nurturing our children.
