Hi, my name is Gabby Barraza, and I am this year's PA President. This is my 11th and final year with High Tech North County. My daughter is a senior!!! I have been on the board for the past 9 years in various roles. I originally joined as Secretary so the PA would have enough board members and not have to be dissolved. Then I chose to stay because I enjoyed getting to know our community of teachers, students, and parents and helping out in any way I could. The most rewarding part of being part of the PA is supporting our teachers that do so much for our students.

My favorite annual event at HTHNC is Village Fest. Even though it's a lot of work to organize, I love when our entire community comes together. Outside of HTHNC I have been married to my husband, Enrique (better known as Coach E) for 26 years and we have 3 children, all of whom have attended HTHNC. I am the office manager for an executive suites building in Vista and am very involved in my church community. A fun fact about me is that I am originally from Argentina and speak fluent Spanish.

Hola, soy Eve, la secretaria, y estoy muy emocionada de formar parte de la junta en mi segundo año. Este es nuestro tercer año en High Tech North County y tengo un par de mellizos niño-niña actualmente en el quinto grado. Se podría decir que soy un voluntario profesional en mi tiempo libre. Me encanta ser voluntaria como líder de tropa de Girl Scouts, madre de equipo para equipos deportivos y cada viaje de campo y evento en el campus que puedo administrar.

Hi, my name is Jose Pineda, and I’m honored to serve as this year’s PA Treasurer. Although this is my first year on the board, I’ve been actively involved with the PA for the past two years. Last year, I had the privilege of co-chairing the fundraising committee, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. My daughter is in second grade, and we’re now in our third year with High Tech North County.
I joined the Parent Association to support our amazing community of teachers, students, and parents. Being fluent in Spanish, I hope to help bridge any gaps within our community and ensure that everyone feels connected and supported. The most rewarding part of being on the PA is seeing the impact we can make together—it truly takes a village.
Outside of HTHNC, I enjoy playing guitar and cooking—two of my favorite ways to unwind and spend time with my family. I also love volunteering for my daughter’s Field Work, which is a wonderful way to stay involved and support her learning.

Hola, soy Annie, la oficial de comunicaciones. Mi hijo ha estado asistiendo a High Tech High Village desde el primer grado. Ahora está en el grado 11 y no puedo esperar a ver lo que tiene reservado el año.
Este es mi tercer año en la Junta de la Asociación de Padres y estoy muy feliz de ser parte de ella. A mi familia le encanta ser parte de la experiencia escolar de nuestro hijo y fomentar el espíritu de HTH Village.
