2024-2025 HTHNCPA Board of Directors
Gabby Barraza
President
Hi, my name is Gabby Barraza, and I am this year's PA President. This is my 11th and final year with High Tech North County. My daughter is a senior!!! I have been on the board for the past 9 years in various roles. I originally joined as Secretary so the PA would have enough board members and not have to be dissolved. Then I chose to stay because I enjoyed getting to know our community of teachers, students, and parents and helping out in any way I could. The most rewarding part of being part of the PA is supporting our teachers that do so much for our students.

My favorite annual event at HTHNC is Village Fest. Even though it's a lot of work to organize, I love when our entire community comes together. Outside of HTHNC I have been married to my husband, Enrique (better known as Coach E) for 26 years and we have 3 children, all of whom have attended HTHNC. I am the office manager for an executive suites building in Vista and am very involved in my church community. A fun fact about me is that I am originally from Argentina and speak fluent Spanish.
Annie Larkins
Secretary & Parliamentarian
Hi, I’m Annie, the Communications Officer. My son has been going to High Tech High Village since 1st grade. He is now in 12th grade and I can't wait to see what the year has in store.
This is my fourth year on the Parent’s Association Board and I am so happy to be part of it. My family loves being part of our son's school experience and fostering the HTH Village spirit.
Jose Pineda
Treasurer
Hi, my name is Jose Pineda, and I’m honored to serve as this year’s PA Treasurer. Although this is my first year on the board, I’ve been actively involved with the PA for the past two years. Last year, I had the privilege of co-chairing the fundraising committee, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. My daughter is in second grade, and we’re now in our third year with High Tech North County.
I joined the Parent Association to support our amazing community of teachers, students, and parents. Being fluent in Spanish, I hope to help bridge any gaps within our community and ensure that everyone feels connected and supported. The most rewarding part of being on the PA is seeing the impact we can make together—it truly takes a village.
Outside of HTHNC, I enjoy playing guitar and cooking—two of my favorite ways to unwind and spend time with my family. I also love volunteering for my daughter’s Field Work, which is a wonderful way to stay involved and support her learning.
Nosheen Rizai
Communications Chair
My name is Nosheen Rizai and I am a proud member of the HTHNC Village as a communications Chair starting fall 2024. Our son is attending Kindergarten in HTH. I joined Parent Association as a member, so I can actively contribute to the school community and support the students and staff. The most rewarding part of being on the PA board is seeing the positive impact our efforts have on the school and the students.
Outside of HTHNC, I work as a Relationship Manager within Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) team, where I support clients in meeting their needs and objectives.
As a board member, we will work together to ensure that information is shared in a timely and efficient manner while collaborating school events, activities and planning to foster HTHNC Village spirits. I am looking forward to a successful first year and years to come working alongside each of you to support our school.
