If you're able to donate pop-up tents and tables, or to donate 30 minutes of your time to help us manage individual events, the kids and your community would be tremendously grateful. Use the volunteer links below to sign up.

High Tech High was founded in 2000 with the vision of creating a transformative educational experience for students. The core philosophy of High Tech High emphasizes the integration of academic subjects with real-world skills, encouraging students to learn by doing in a collaborative environment. Developed by a coalition of civic leaders and educators, the school initially started as a small public charter school with an enrollment of 450 students. Over the years, High Tech High has grown into a network of 16 charter schools serving over 6,300 students across four campuses from kindergarten through grade 12.

“As we celebrate 25 years of impact, we look forward to the next 25 years and the opportunity to provide countless more students with the exceptional education they deserve,” said Foundation board chair Gary Jacobs. “We are filled with gratitude for all the ways the community has joined together in support.”

Welcome HTHNC Village families!

The Parent Association is made up of parents like you, with kids fortunate enough to attend High Tech High North County. We are on the sidelines, behind the scenes, promoting fundraising ventures, supporting our teachers and staff, and getting to know fellow parents. We want to ensure the best possible educational experience for all of our HTHNC students... and your involvement and support will help to accomplish this goal.

The High Tech High Parent Association (PA) works to support the school's core design principles of personalization, adult world connection, a common intellectual mission, and teacher as designer.

We, alongside many parent volunteers, support our students, teachers, and administrators throughout the year with a multitude of projects and fundraisers.

Parent involvement can be a great help to teachers by assisting in their ability to respond to the needs of students. Parent support truly makes a difference to every child!

Please email us at hthnc.pa@gmail.com if you'd like to volunteer.
